Sylvia Said:
Christians...is my NIV study Bible okay?We Answered:
It would seem that it is just as valid as any other translation of 1000 year old copies of long gone historical documents.Maurice Said:
NLT or NIV Study Bible, which one is better? We Answered:
it totally depend on your need. NIV study bible is good for studying and NLT is good for reading according to me.There is nothing in cover. I like hardcover

Life Application Study Bible? NIV or NLT?We Answered:
Both are quite an easy read!If you want one to follow along at church go for the NIV. I find the New living easier to read though although some bits seem different from the NIV or NKJ versions.
I personally recommend the NIV but both are good!
I hope you learn alot from it when you get it!

NLT and NIV Study Bible: Which one is better? We Answered:
If those are your only two choices, go with the NIV Study Bible. And I think you will find that a leather Bible will be more durable than a hard cover one will be. I personally prefer the Revised Standard Version (Catholic Edition) and I would highly recommend it. I also read the New American Bible (revised) and the Contemporary English Bible (Catholic Edition). Both are quite good.God bless!

Addendum: This is for ricardo9505 who said that only Catholics use the King James translation. We do not. The King James version of the Bible is strictly protestant, not Catholic.
Addendum #2: Do not use the NWT (New World Translation) as only the Jehovah's Witnesses use that so-called bible. Basically, they rewrote parts of it and left out other bits that didn't correspond to their religious beliefs/practises so no other church but the JW's accept it.
Jo Said:
Can I buy on cd or dvd: NIV study Bible ? and where ?We Answered:
WELL - I don't think that you'll find a study bible on *audio* CD (or DVD).However, if what you are seeking is the NIV LASB on CD-ROM (that is, for your computer), that is available
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1414327…
This includes the NLT2, the NIV and other bibles along with the LASB notes (the study notes in bible software are always *separate* from the bible, which is perhaps why you have had trouble locating it).
