I'm sorry you haven't had a lot of support around here. Have you tried a posting website like iVillage too? There are many bulletin boards there with VERY supportive, loving and understanding people. You can find a board for just about any topic or interest. Just corresponding with other women who feel like you do can be such a relief.

don't be too discouraged if state schools are not admitting you...look to some community colleges, sometimes they have agreements with universities that will allow easy transfers after you finish the general ed requirements.
