Neil Said:
Does Barry University require Bible Study classes? We Answered:
They require 9 credits (three classes) of "Theology and Philosophy", so it looks like you don't necessarily have to to Bible Study; you could focus on non-religious philosophy instead.Laura Said:
why dont some christians let women preach or conduct bible study classes? We Answered:
Because it is not scriptural for women to preach, just as the man was created before the woman then man is to be the head of the house and the head of the church women can teach children or other women...if you search the scriptures you will find no women preachers.Delores Said:

Salvation is a FREE GIFT that happens in a split second when you believe in Jesus alone to save you! It is impossible to lose or "leave" salvation (John 6:39-40, John 10:28, 1 John 5:13).
The truth about Jesus is that the only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell, is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross as FULL PAYMENT for all our sins, and then Jesus rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you will be in heaven, no matter what!
Please pray now: "Jesus, please forgive me of my sins. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and You rose from the dead. Thank You for eternal life!" You will be in heaven with Him forever when you die. :)

Forced to attend church and bible study classes? We Answered:
It's very refreshing to find that you have a mind of your own. And at 14 you have found it out very early, earlier than most. You can find worthy friends at church, and you can continue to grow despite the very strict circumstance, at least I think they are restraining. Just continue to do your own thing, question everything that is taught to you, accept and have faith in the things you find right and agree with you, discard what is nonsense. The secret is to take what you need from all this. If you for sure need a break from all this, ask if you may join a sports team, maybe outside of school, take swimming lessons. You'll only be able to see your teamates outside of home, but you can try. All you need is to continue to grow as a person, everything else is just rubbish. best wishesJanet Said:
should i stop my daughter from going to a bible study class that teaches things we don't believe in?We Answered:
Depends on your daughters age. If she is old enough to understand that not everything they teach at a bible class is the law and has a mind of her own, then yes.If she is very young and will believe all they teach, then no, keep her away.
The way I explained it to my daughter was just because you are taught something, and other believe it, use your own good judgment as to whether you believe it too, and I am always here to answer questions you may have.
