Take this from the heart of a pastor. It comes down to motives. Maybe this is not the time for you to miss out on Bible study. If God has you there to learn and connect with the adults, I would say, don't worry about it. I wouldn't ask you to sit out to babysit.
However, if the pressure is from the Lord, and you are shying away from the inconvenience of the situation, then you're in a different ballpark altogether. If this is the case, then give up a Bible study for the sake of loving the children. Jesus died on a cross. What are a few kids?
remember, asking for counsel is Godly, but you don't know who's who here, and His opinion is the ONE that matters. I'll pray that He will give you wisdom and courage.

How about exploring the gospel of John together to learn about how Jesus lived His life while He was among us. You'll learn about His relationships with His parents, His disciples, His friends and how He treated women as opposed to the culture of His day. You'll also learn about His way of life and love in addition to His relationship with God the Father and how He maintained it..

Go through the Bible itself. Start in the Book of John, and do a chapter at a time, and when done, go on to Acts, and so on! :)
