build a Stirling engine. it takes a cup of hot water, some cardboard and or waxed paper, and a propeller.

it uses the heat in the water to drive a simple lever arrangement to turn the propeller. it will turn quite fast with a good hot cup of water.

it is also simple and quick to make.

the plans are available almost anywhere. look it up on google or wikipedia.
