Has anyone attending school at the Independence University/California College for Health Sciences?

We Answered:

I havent, but I think you don't qualify for financial aid there.. like for fafsa grants/ect. I think they are suppose to be good, but financing your tuition through a bank instead of federal grants or loans would be tough.

I hate myself because of college....what should I do?

We Answered:

I can't tell if you're taking classes or not. If you are, and can afford them, continue until you can get some sort of a degree.

Work around the anatomy requirement for the time being. It's not obvious how you can fail the same course five times without having someone notice that you've become a permanent fixture in the class and talk to you about it, but these are well known to be very difficult classes, and you probably will need a different approach to eventually master them; much of it is memorization. You may find that you can take the course with more success at another school and transfer the credits.

Pay off your student loans as quickly as you can so that you're not panicked by that aspect of your difficulties, and then gradually take the other courses that you need.

Also be aware that when you're going to school and working at the same time there will be those at work who will deliberately discourage you: it's a common problem among adult students.

Question related to Respiratory Therapist work in U.S?

We Answered:

your problem is you need a visa to work in the US.
if your finishing in May you need to apply now for the Visa,
if you had a letter from the hospital saying they would hire you would help on your visa.

you do not need an attorney they just do the paper work you can fill in,
i take board everywhere you can so you always covered.

This question relates to Respiratory Therapist working in U.S?

We Answered:

even if NAFTA doesn't cover it, it may be petitionable under the H1b skilled worker program. that's something this hospital should know or at least be able to find out. so, talk to them about it. but, the hospital would need to file paperwork for you through USCIS. even if they filed now, you wouldn't be able to start work before October 1, so you shouldn't waste too much time before talking to them .
