Online degrees are OK as long as they are from a regionally accredited institution. Nationally accredited and unaccredited programs are not as rigorous or complete and standards can vary greatly. This is what I look at when I hire anybody with a degree from an online university.

Depends what online school you are talking about! Your best bet is to go to a traditional school that offers online classes than wasting a lot of money on a degree mill where your degree won't be worth the paper it is written on!!!
