HELP: where i can find some tough gre math practice problems

We Answered:

Check out this website. It has lots of practice GRE problems: http://www.greguide.com/gre-practice-tes…

As for what the actual test is like, I only took the SAT's so I don't know much about this one. Good luck with it!

GRE practice math question for those of you who want to try it...?

We Answered:

Let mt be the number of married TAs, ut the number of unmarried TAs, mr married RAs, ur unmarried RAs. So we know:

mt+ut = 65 (65 TAs)
mt+ut+mr+ur = 300 (300 grad students)
mt = ur+10 (10 more married TAs than unmarried RAs)

We want to find:

mt+mr (married grad students)

So note that ut = 65-mt and ur = mt-10, so ut+ur = 55. Thus:

mt+mr+55 = 300
mt+mr = 245

...How did you conclude that E was wrong?

Is the Kaplan GRE practice test accurate with actual GRE test scores?

We Answered:

They're pretty good, but if you really want to know how you'll score, go to the ETS website and download their test prep stuff (PowerPrep). It's free, and they send you a computer-adaptive test that acts just like the real thing. Overall, sounds like you're in pretty good shape!

GRE Math Practice Question ?

We Answered:

What kind of interest is being asked? if simple:
I=Prt
so:

1000000=10000000(1+x(2))
=10000000(1+2x)
=10000000+20000000x
-9000000=20000000x
x=.45
meaning the simple interest rate is .45%
